Happiness is celebrating Holi festival
Holi is the festival during which mind
and body, both play wicked games. I didn’t actually play with colors, but just
a small smudge of red color was rubbed on my throat. My sister felt that I
needed to stain my body some place.
But during my walk in my lane, I saw
children playing happily with colors and water balloons, some men, too drunk to
walk on their own, swayed, fell, wobbled with support and then there were group of young
people gyrating to the loud music of Bollywood numbers.
The main idea is to enjoy. For me it was
a day to celebrate with my family and enjoy my favorite meals of pulav, greens
and deep fried brinjal.
